Buckeye Lake Area Growth Discussion

Similar to the East Licking County community meeting held last month at Licking Valley High School, there will be a meeting held June 1, 2022 at 6:00pm at Lakewood High School to help give context to the potential impacts of Intel, the supply chain and how to best prepare for growth in the Buckeye Lake area. The meeting has been coordinated by the Village of Buckeye Lake and will include a presentation by Betsy Goldstein, M.A. Architects, discussing what is happening with skilled labor, the construction industry and other trades while Jim Lenner, Neighborhood Strategies, will give insights as to how best to prepare for growth. Dr. Mark Gleichauf, superintendent, will update everyone on what Lakewood Schools are doing to help prepare students for careers after high school. Presentations should take 30 minutes with time following for Q&A.
