APPALACHIAN COMMUNITY GRANT PROGRAM (ACGP)

MULTI-COMMUNITY PROJECT MANAGER

Commissioned by the Mayors’ Partnership for Progress, Neighborhood Strategies served as the project manager for over 35 Southeast Ohio communities participating in the state’s Appalachian Community Grant Program, which is investing $500 million across Appalachian counties. Collaborating with commissioners, community leaders, and stakeholders, we guided applicants through the Ohio Department of Development grant procedures, vetted projects for ACGP and ARPA fund eligibility, advocated for project inclusion in applications, acted as a liaison with state agencies, and authored portions of grant applications.
