Neighborhood Strategies worked with the Village of Pomeroy, the county seat of Meigs County, to modernize its zoning and related infrastructure maps. Our firm provided data to partnering consultants and organizations to evaluate the fiscal impact of a potential annexation for this riverside community in Southeast Ohio.

Neighborhood Strategies provided data and maps to Meigs County Economic Development, Village of Pomeroy, Mayors’ Partnership for Progress, Ohio University, and the Montrose Group. These organizations used this data to analyze and determinate the fiscal impact of a potential annexation of the Village.

Our firm created updated maps of the Village of Pomeroy and Meigs County, as well as a detailed base map of the area under consideration for annexation. Additionally, Neighborhood Strategies developed maps that depicted existing land use, known structures, water and sewer infrastructure, zoning, and property ownership.
