Neighborhood Strategies is one of a select number of prequalified planning firms for Mayors’ Partnership for Progress (MPP) and served as an Appalachian Community Grant Program (ACGP) project manager for multiple communities in Ohio.

We are proud to partner with MPP in its mission to unite community leaders and planners across the Appalachian region, sharing resources, insights, and innovative solutions to address challenges and improve residents’ quality of life. As a fiscal agent, MPP supports projects in over 204 communities across 25 Ohio counties.

As a project manager for Appalachian Community Grant Program initiatives, our firm supported over 20 communities through the grant process. We provided regular updates to commissioners, community leaders, and stakeholders, guided applicants through Ohio Department of Development grant procedures, vetted projects for ACGP and ARPA fund eligibility, advocated for project inclusion in applications, and acted as a liaison with state agencies.
